Terms of Use

Homon.in ("Homon", "Platform", "we", "us", "our") is an online platform, together with its mobile apps and sub-sites (such as ads.homon.in and partners.homon.in), that helps customers ("Customers") build and furnish their homes. It connects Customers with independent third parties:

• Ghar Saathi Experts: verified experts for construction advice, Vastu consultation, material selection, architect and interior advice.
• Site Coordinators: people who visit a Customer's site, share updates, photos and videos, and coordinate with the contractor.
• Marble Sellers: independent sellers of marble, granite, tiles and natural stone.

Ghar Saathi Experts and Site Coordinators are together called "Partners". By using the Platform you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

Homon.in is a facilitation platform. Across Ghar Saathi and Marble & Stone, Homon.in:

• Does not manufacture, own or sell any marble, tile or stone product listed on the Platform.
• Does not itself give construction, Vastu, architectural, interior, legal or financial advice. Such advice is given by the independent Partner.
• Does not itself carry out construction, renovation or site work. Site Coordinators visit, record and report; they do not take responsibility for the work of the Customer's contractor.
• May coordinate between the Customer and a Marble Seller and follow the order until delivery, but the sale, the material, its delivery and any warranty on it are between the Customer and the Marble Seller.

Every contract for buying marble or stone, or for a consultation or site service, is between the Customer and the relevant Seller or Partner. Homon.in is not a party to that contract and does not guarantee its performance.

• You can request a service through the website or app. Our team calls or messages you on WhatsApp to confirm the details, the price and the time.
• Prices shown on the Platform are a guide; the final price is confirmed before the work starts.
• The assigned Partner may share reports, PDFs or photos with you in your account. These files are deleted automatically 7 days after the work is completed, or 10 days after upload if the work is not completed. Please download anything you want to keep.

• You need an account to ask for a quote. Each account gets a set number of free quotes per month; more quotes can be bought as shown on the Marble & Stone page.
• When a deal is agreed, Homon starts an order. The Seller updates the order stages and adds transport details (such as bilty or tracking number) and photos or videos of your material before dispatch, which you can see in your account.
• Please check the photos and videos carefully before the material is dispatched, and check the material on delivery.
• Order photos and videos are deleted automatically 7 days after the order is delivered or cancelled.

• Any fee charged by Homon.in itself (for example a consultation fee, quote top-up, Site Coordinator plan or advertising plan) is for Homon's own service only. It does not include the price of the material, advice or site work, which is paid to the relevant Seller, Partner or contractor.
• Homon's own fees are non-refundable once the service has been delivered, unless these Terms say otherwise.
• Online payments are processed by our payment partner. Payments you make directly to a Seller, Partner or contractor are made at your own risk.

Marble Sellers, Partners and businesses that advertise on Homon.in agree that:

• They will give true information and genuine documents for verification (such as GST, Aadhaar, PAN and address proof). Changes to account details take effect after Homon approves them.
• They are fully responsible for the accuracy, quality and legality of their listings, advice, work and ads.
• They will honour the prices, delivery timelines and scope of work they commit to.
• Marble Sellers will upload real, current photos and videos of the material being sent.
• Partners will use customer contact details only for the assigned work and will not contact customers after the work is closed.
• Every paid ad (Featured Marble or Sponsor) is checked by Homon before it runs; the ad period starts on approval. Homon may reject an ad, in which case the full amount goes back to the advertiser's ads wallet, or stop a running ad that breaks these Terms.
• Bonus amounts in the ads wallet can be used only for ads on Homon.in; they cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash.
• Any fraud, misrepresentation or breach of trust on their part is their own legal responsibility.
• Homon may suspend, delist or stop working with any Seller, Partner or advertiser after credible complaints, at its sole discretion.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". Homon.in makes reasonable efforts to verify Sellers and Partners, but this is not a guarantee, certification or endorsement of their work. Homon.in gives no warranty about:

• The quality, correctness or outcome of any advice from a Partner.
• The quality, thickness, finish, quantity or timely delivery of any material from a Marble Seller.
• The work done at your site beyond what is shown in the updates, photos and videos shared with you.
• The accuracy of any listing, price, description, image or ad on the Platform.

Please do your own checks, especially before making large payments.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Homon.in, its directors, employees, agents and partners are not liable for:

• Any loss arising from your dealings with a Marble Seller, Partner, advertiser or contractor, including payments made directly to them.
• Fraud, misrepresentation, non-delivery, wrong or damaged material, incorrect advice or poor site work by any third party.
• Any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use of the Platform.
• Unauthorised access to your account caused by your login details being shared or exposed.

Disputes about material, advice or site work are between the Customer and the relevant Seller, Partner or contractor. Homon.in has no legal duty to resolve them, but our team will try to help where it reasonably can.

By using the Platform, you agree to:

• Give true and complete information.
• Keep your password safe and not share your account.
• Not use the Platform for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading.
• Not list or advertise counterfeit, stolen, prohibited or illegal products or services.
• Follow the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act 2019, the IT Act 2000 and GST rules where they apply.

Homon.in may suspend or remove any account that breaks these Terms, without notice.

All content on Homon.in, including the name, logo, design, code, text and layout, belongs to Homon.in and is protected by Indian copyright and trademark law. You may not copy or reuse it without our written permission.

Photos, videos and descriptions uploaded by Sellers and advertisers remain theirs. By uploading, they allow Homon.in to show this content on the Platform, its apps and its social media for listing and promotion.

The Platform uses and links to third-party services such as WhatsApp, payment gateways and social media. Homon.in is not responsible for their content or practices. You use them at your own risk.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of the Platform is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Rajasthan, India.

Homon.in may update these Terms at any time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new date. Using the Platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
