Terms of Use

Homon.in ("Platform", "we", "us", or "our") is an online platform that connects customers ("Customers") with three categories of independent third parties: (a) verified consultation experts for construction, Vastu, Shubh Muhurat, and architect/interior advice ("Ghar Saathi Experts"), (b) independent sellers of marble, tiles, and natural stone ("Marble Sellers"), and (c) local site-visit and coordination personnel who assist NRI (Non-Resident Indian) customers with monitoring construction or renovation projects in India ("Site Coordinators"). The Platform is owned and operated by Homon.in.

By accessing or using Homon.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

Homon.in is strictly an intermediary and facilitation platform. Across all three services — Ghar Saathi, Marble & Stone, and NRI Services — Homon.in:

• Does not manufacture, own, or sell any marble, tile, or stone product listed on the Platform.
• Does not itself provide construction, Vastu, architectural, interior, legal, or financial advice — such advice is given solely by the independent Ghar Saathi Expert on the call, not by Homon.in.
• Does not itself carry out any construction, renovation, or site work for NRI customers — Site Coordinators only visit, record video, and relay information; they do not supervise, approve, or take responsibility for the underlying contractor's work.
• May negotiate pricing with a Marble Seller on a Customer's behalf as a convenience, but the resulting sale contract, payment, delivery, and any warranty on the material is solely between the Customer and the Marble Seller.

All contracts for the purchase of marble/stone, the delivery of an expert consultation, or the performance of site-visit/coordination services are directly and solely between the Customer and the relevant Marble Seller, Ghar Saathi Expert, or Site Coordinator. Homon.in is not a party to any such contract and does not guarantee its performance.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Homon.in expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including in relation to:

• The quality, correctness, or outcome of any advice given during a Ghar Saathi consultation call.
• The quality, thickness, finish, quantity, or timely delivery of any marble/stone material ordered through a Marble Seller.
• The accuracy or completeness of the work being done at an NRI Customer's site, beyond what is visible in the video/photos shared by the Site Coordinator at the time of the visit.
• The accuracy or completeness of any listing, description, pricing, or image on the Platform.
• The identity, qualifications, licensing, or legitimacy of any Ghar Saathi Expert, Marble Seller, or Site Coordinator.

Homon.in makes reasonable efforts to verify Marble Sellers and Ghar Saathi Experts before listing or engaging them, but this verification does not amount to a guarantee, certification, or endorsement of their future conduct. Customers are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence — including confirming material quality on delivery and verifying advice independently where significant money is involved — before acting on anything obtained through the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Homon.in, its directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for:

• Any loss or damage arising from a Customer's dealings with a Marble Seller, Ghar Saathi Expert, or Site Coordinator, including payments made directly to any of them.
• Fraud, misrepresentation, non-delivery, defective or substituted material, incorrect advice, or non-performance of site work by any Marble Seller, Ghar Saathi Expert, Site Coordinator, or contractor.
• Any financial loss resulting from advance payments, deposits, or full payments made by a Customer directly to a Seller, Expert, Site Coordinator, or third-party contractor — such payments are made entirely at the Customer's own risk and outside any payment system operated by Homon.in.
• Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Platform.
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of user data.
• Any dispute between a Customer and a Marble Seller, Ghar Saathi Expert, Site Coordinator, or contractor.

All disputes regarding marble/stone purchased, advice received during a consultation, or site work observed/reported through the Platform are solely between the Customer and the respective Marble Seller, Ghar Saathi Expert, or Site Coordinator/contractor. Homon.in has no legal obligation to mediate, arbitrate, compensate, or resolve any such dispute, though we may assist informally where possible on a best-effort basis.

Any fee charged by Homon.in directly to a Customer — such as consultation service fees, marble quote-request fees (including the paid quote top-ups described on the Marble & Stone page), or NRI package subscription fees — is a fee for Homon.in's own facilitation service only. It is separate from, and does not include, the price of the underlying material, advice, or site work, which is paid directly to the relevant Seller, Expert, or Site Coordinator/contractor. Homon.in's own facilitation fees are non-refundable once the corresponding service (e.g. a quote request, a booked consultation slot, or an activated package) has been delivered.

By using the Platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information when registering or listing.
• Not use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purpose.
• Not list counterfeit, stolen, prohibited, or illegal products or services.
• Comply with all applicable laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act 2019, IT Act 2000, and GST regulations where applicable.
• Take full responsibility for all your listings, transactions, and communications conducted via or outside the Platform.

Homon.in reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any user who violates these Terms without prior notice and without any liability.

Marble Sellers, Ghar Saathi Experts, and Site Coordinators registered or engaged on Homon.in independently agree that:

• They are solely responsible for the accuracy, quality, and legality of their listings, advice, or site work.
• They must honor commitments made to Customers, including pricing, delivery timelines, and the scope of any service delivered.
• Any fraud, misrepresentation, or breach of trust on their part is their sole legal liability, and Homon.in bears no responsibility for it.
• Homon.in may remove listings, delist a Marble Seller, or discontinue working with an Expert or Site Coordinator that receives credible complaints, at its sole discretion and without liability.

All content on Homon.in — including the logo, design, code, text, and layout — is the intellectual property of Homon.in and is protected under applicable Indian copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any Platform content without prior written permission.

Content uploaded by Sellers (product images, descriptions) remains their property. By uploading, you grant Homon.in a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display such content on the Platform for listing purposes.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, payment gateways, or services. Homon.in has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. Use of such services is at your own risk.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Rajasthan, India.

Homon.in reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Platform after any such modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
